Making Messes

At it again. De-organizing all my freshly organized drawers full of sorted fabrics, paints, and stuff.

Had an old mattress cover and a bunch of fabric quarters. I have been wanting to make some fabric collage quilts since forever so I am giving it a go. 

This book: Creating with Fabric by Lesley Riley

is where I found my inspiration. Therein was a feature on quilt artist Pamela Allen whose work I have long admired. I am trying to emulate her quilt titled "Hen Party" found on page 110.

Took a break. Did a sketch. 

Took some pics of a table I painted last year.

Played some Words with Friends.
